The Unique Portable Machine Operation that we have developed specifically for this particular area uses water flow, lateral motion, and vibratory motion to process ore from 12 tons to 38 tons per hour depending upon the material size being run while utilizing recirculating water with an adjustable flow rate up to 600 gallons per minute. Initially, the machine which does contain a nugget trap, separates the large rock with a grizzly located over the 5 ton capacity hopper. From the adjustable clover valve in the hopper bottom, the ore goes up to the conveyor into the machine and bathed in water spray. The washed ore then flows and separtes into 5 categories which are adjustable - (1) Large Rock (2) Large Gravel (3) Smaller Gravel (4) Sand and (5) heavy black sands, etc. For further processing the "Heavies" as they are discharged with water from the machine go up a variable speed cleated conveyor into an impact mill for further size reduction and to help break gold away from the rock, then that material flows downward onto twin water fed shaker pans which further classify the concentrates by specific gravity into 4 more categories. Each category contains values. Assay Tests show that the number 1 category concentrate runs gold 2 1/2 ozs to 7 oz per ton. The number 2 category concentrate runs gold at 3/4 oz to 2 oz per ton produced simultaneously with the 1 category. Silver values recovered are usually less than gold values and can show in number 3 category as well. The values of the sized and washed sand and gravels run $20 - $45 per ton.
