The Maisy Mae Creek Gold Mine consist of 135 placer claims, located in the Dawson Creek Mining District of Yukon Canada, This creek has historically been a good producer although the gold is considered to be of fine grade. The claims are 2,000 feet wide x 500 feet long, however only a 400 feet wide cut up the center of 22.8 claims has been mined. If mining were to continue in the same manner (400' wide) there are 112.2 claims that have not been mined.

Based on trench sample testing up and down the creek the gold values run very consistent (about 0.028 ounces Au per cubic yard). The gold value on either side of the 400' wide strip has lower values, (about .008 ounces Au per cubic yard), however if gold prices hold, or increase, this lower grade ground could be mined profitably. There are between 36 to 75 un-staked claims on tributaries, (pups) flowing into Maisy Mae that should also be staked and claimed. These tributaries have potential values above those in Maisy Mae. There is sufficient water supply in the creek to sustain at least 4 each 200 cubic yard per hour machines. The property has one log cabin suitable for housing the mine superintendent and small family. The mining season is 6 months per year.

Historical Data:

Good historical production records are available for the Maisy Mae mine from 1980 - 1994 when the mine was last worked and nearly 19,000 ounces of gold was recovered during these years.During a portion of the 2007 mining season, the current owner performed maintenance and repair projects on the equipment at Maisy Mae in addition to restoring the camp buildings, and the log cabin, in addition to building a fresh water storage building, water tanks and pump system. Work also included the building or repair and maintenance of about 20 miles of the road leading to the mine, as well as roadways on the property. A current geological report is now being prepared and will be made available to buyers as soon as it is released.
