The Anchor Group is made up of 13 Patented mining claims in the Couer d"Alene Mining District of northern Idaho. The Anchor Group's 107 acres (+ or -) are among the areas most significant mines and is accessible by paved road and crossed by logging roads.

Drilling on the Anchor Group and its close proximity to many historic producing mines indicate that this is a rich copper, lead, and silver, prospect. The Snowstorm mine about 5 miles away produced 55 million pounds of Copper. The Anchor Groups ore structures assay from 3.5-300 oz/ton Silver and up to 5% Copper.

These Patented claims are perfectly situated between the Helca and the Standard-Mammoth mines which produced $3.2 Billion worth of metal. The Hecla shaft is 800 feet to the east of the Anchor claims and produced 40 million ounces of Silver, 1.5 billion pounds of Led, and 100,000 pounds of Zinc.

The Standard Mammoth mine to the west sold for $6 million in 1904 ($137 million in today's dollars) and the Standard Mammoth shaft is only 1000 feet to the west of the Anchor Claims. This mine produced $507 million in metal, 25 million ounces of Silver and 57 million pounds of Lead. Three other mines within two miles of the Anchor Group's claims produced $1.3 Billion in metal at today's prices.

The Anchor Group has 1200 feet of tunnels and has had 1200 feet of diamond core drilling. An ore body has been identified on the east side not far from Hecla. Two drill holes have confirmed the same 3 foot ore body. One Hecla drilling assayed 27.9 ounces of Silver per ton, .8% Lead, and 2.36% Copper. A second hole driled by Sunshine Mining intersecting the vein 28 feet from the first drilling assayed 3.5 ounces per ton Silver, and .1% Copper. 1100 feet away the Diamond Hitch vein is 6 inches wide and assayed 11.2 ounce per ton Silver, .1% Lead, .2% Zinc, and 5% Copper.
