There are fifteen 40 acre BLM mining claims located along Rockhill Canyon Creek. Rockhill Canyon Creek, Willow Creek, and others are historic past producers of placer gold in the Dunn Glenn Mining District. Rockhill Canyon produced half the gold from the district or up to 100,000 ounces according to the Pershing County Geological Report. This creek was not mined during the last gold rush of the 1970's and 1980's. The claims are located near Winnemucca, Nevada.

There are about 2.2 miles of contiguous claims on the lower block with the gravels about 250 feet wide. A seismic test in one area indicated the gravels are 35-45 feet deep to bedrock. It is assumed 8.5 feet of gravel directly on bedrock plus 1.5 feet of bedrock would processed through a trommel and sluice box to capture the gold. Based on an area of (250' x10' x11,500') there is a resource of about 1,000,000 yards of gold bearing gravels on the lower block claims. The upper mile of claims contains gravels about 75 feet wide.

In Willow Creek, several miles to the South, similar gold bearing gravels have been mined for the last 5-6 years. Based on conversations with people who have worked on Willow Creek the gravels run about $12 per yard, and nuggets up to 17 pounds were recovered. Thus if the Rockhill Property has similar values, there is a target resource of 20,000 oz of gold or $12 million at $600 gold.
